It was a very good experience for the money. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful. It is 500 steps round trip to get to the waterfall that is not advertised which for someone older could be a problem. I enjoyed the horseback riding. I enjoyed the boat to get to the waterfall. I actually enjoyed the Dominican lunch, which didn't give many options for non-pork eaters, but it was okay. I recommend bringing long drinks and towels. But again, like I said, it was a great twist. You will get your money worth everything. We had a little beach day on a small private island. Photos was very affordable.

It's a full day, but it's worth it. Thomas was the guide in Samaná, we started with a coffee and snacks, then the catamaran to Samaná, the open bus to the waterfall, if you don't want to ride, a guide will accompany you on foot, El Limón is impressive, and very, very humid, after the return the bus took us to lunch, and again the catamaran to a beautiful beach where we stayed for an hour. Quite tiring, but incredible.
