Coimbra The city, located on a hill next to the Mondego River, was called Aeminium in Roman times. The Romans founded the civitas of Aeminium in this place in the time of Augustus, which remained under the protection of nearby Conímbriga, about 15 kilometers to the south.
Évora has a history that goes back more than five millennia. You can plan your trip that day with the driver.
